Thinking about setting up a shuffleboard table in your games room? Maybe you’ve got a Man Cave you’re looking to pimp out? Perhaps you’ve got an empty wall in an entertaining room that is screaming for some attention? Whatever the reason, we commend you for welcoming the game of shuffleboard into your home…
Table shuffleboard is a great game for home, because it discriminates against nobody. Play with friends, play your kids, play with grandparents, practise by yourself! It’s relaxing, social, easy-to-learn and simple in structure. Insert some players with a competitive streak and it’s instantly an addictive and challenging game that stimulates healthy competition!
Southern Cross Shuffleboards stock the highest quality shuffleboard tables in Australia and hence our 12ft Armstrong, 14ft Mercer and 16ft Western models all require decent investment. We suggest you do your research online and contact us with any and all queries. We are confident in our product, as well as our prices, which keep our products at a lower price than importing similar tables from the USA.
Southern cross Shuffleboards are all professionally designed, crafted and assembled to give you the ultimate shuffleboard experience. The 3-inch thick playfield is vertically manufactured with a true butcher-block design and is constructed of kiln-dried maple wood. The surface is finished with a durable polymer.
The underneath of the playfield is fitted with climatic adjusters, allowing you to alter and control the movement of the table to your playing preference. The cradle is constructed from HDF and solid wood, and accentuated by stylish trimmings, contrasting finishes and a neutral grey carpeted inner. Our tables feature sturdy wooden legs, each with adjustable leg levellers to customise your playing height.
To help with your research and buying decision, measure out the area where you want to put the table. Shuffleboard is played from end-to-end, hence many people choose to position a table alongside a wall. Shuffleboard doesn’t require 360 degree access to the table like Pool and Billiards do.
We suggest at least 2ft-to-3ft of playing space at each end of the table, but the table can be positioned into a corner and played one-way only if you want to avoid a tight squeeze.
Southern Cross Shuffleboards is based in Melbourne and is only one phone call away. You’ve won’t find another business in Australia that specialises in shuffleboard tables, but a quick Google Search will navigate you to some similar companies in the USA and Europe.
We look forward to hearing from you…
