It’s just not cricket… so it’s time for shuffleboard.

Don’t know about you, but I’m sick of watching cricket this summer… I love cricket, but I’m sick of losing to the Poms!

What’s this have to do with shuffleboard? Read on…

We were embarrassed in the Ashes (I hope I never say that again), I’ve received email after email of sledging from my English mates and to top it off we lost a 20-20 match last night (which we should have won) by one wicket off the last ball…

Come on!

Even the absence of Alastair Cook and Jimmy Anderson – England’s two most dominant players during the Ashes series – didn’t help.

Southern Cross Shuffleboards wants to help though, so we’re keen to get some of the players into shuffleboard. Think about… Cricket was invented in England over 500 years ago and we’ve beat them at their own game for years (minus this past month or so). Shuffleboard was also invented in England around the same time, but there’s an empty scoreboard. We could dominate the Poms again!

“Attn: Cricket Australia” email is sent. We’ll keep you updated.
