We recently found out that super popular American news website Mashable is a huge fan of shuffleboard – so much so that the social media experts continually feature table shuffleboard in the annual Mashable Geek Games held every year during the South by Southwest (SXSW) festivals in Texas, USA…
Southern Cross Shuffleboards is a big fan of Mashable and follows the website religiously, so we thought we’d showcase a couple of their shuffleboard photos from their Geek Games earlier this year.
The two-day event draws in 64 participating teams consisting of two to five players who participate in a single-elimination tournament of head-to-head matches in shuffleboard, bowling, Twister, trivia and more. Participants are competing for geek glory and prizes such as Internet TVs, Sony PS3 consoles and geeky t-shirts.
The event is held in Austin, Texas, at the infamous Buffalo Billiards – which we reviewed earlier this year right HERE.
